6、 Installation and use

Installation of CNC precision worktable

The CNC precision worktable must be installed on a rigid base with a minimum roughness of Ral. 60 and a flatness accuracy of level 7. Scratching and grinding may be necessary. According to the installation hole position on the CNC worktable base, machine the base installation hole and tighten it with a cylindrical head hexagon socket screw.

● Precautions for using CNC worktable

The walking program set for the CNC worktable must be within the effective travel range, and should not frequently impact the mechanical limit travel stopper, let alone be directly used for limiting. Under frequent program changes, it is necessary to set electrical limit switches on your own for protection.

The rolling elements of the workbench must be kept clean, and there must be no chips or particles of dust entering the interior of the raceway. The raceway must be strictly guarded against hard object impact to avoid damage that may cause loss of accuracy or even inability to operate.

Before starting up, all items within the worktable travel area should be cleared to avoid accidental collisions or accidents.

In frequent and continuous work environments, it is necessary to regularly check the locking status of fasteners. If there is any looseness, it should be tightened in a timely manner. Especially the screws between the coupling and the motor must be tightened.

The workbench controlled by a stepper motor should avoid using the high and low speed areas of the motor as much as possible (refer to the motor torque frequency characteristic curve), otherwise it is prone to low-speed vibration or high-speed stepping loss.

Before powering on the fully configured CNC workbench, it is necessary to check the correctness, firmness, and safety of all wiring. After everything meets the requirements, connect the power and start running online.

The rolling elements of the CNC worktable must be lubricated regularly to ensure long-lasting accuracy. When using continuously and at high speeds, it is recommended to adopt a centralized lubrication system.

Standard workbenches do not have dust prevention devices, so avoid using them in working environments with chips and dust mist. If there are special requirements, please indicate them when placing an order.

The workbench is generally used for horizontal installation. When installed vertically, the load-bearing capacity of the workbench is very small, and the ball screw pair is not self-locking. The self-locking mechanism should be fully considered, usually balanced by a mechanical heavy hammer or a brake motor.

The load-bearing capacity of the workbench is generally within the range of the workbench surface. If the load-bearing bias exceeds the workbench surface, a large moment of deviation will be generated. It is important to pay attention to the force point of the heavy load.

The four installation screw holes reserved on the workbench should not be screwed deeper than the thickness of the workbench when installing objects, to prevent the screws from pressing against the guide rail slide and causing deformation of the workbench.

The CNC worktable cannot be disassembled at will. When disassembly is necessary, the ball nut on the ball screw must not detach from the screw; The slider on the rolling rail must not detach from the rail or be pushed back beyond its travel. Otherwise, it must be sent back to our factory for reinstallation.

In situations where high positioning accuracy and repeatability are required, drivers with subdivision circuits must be selected to refine pulse equivalents and reduce errors. To ensure compatibility, the motor and driver are selected from the same manufacturer.

7、 Precision testing method for workbench

● Repetitive positioning accuracy

Select one point on the workbench, move a distance of not less than 0.1mm in the same direction for seven repetitions of positioning, measure the stop position, and record the maximum difference. Inspect at three positions near both ends in the middle of the workbench stroke.

The workbench moves in the positive (or negative) direction, using the stop position as a reference, and then gives instructions to move in the same direction at specified intervals for positioning. According to the reference position, measure the deviation between the actual movement distance and the specified movement distance, and the maximum and minimum deviations in the measured values are the error values.

Touch the meter head on the other side of the angle ruler, move the Y-direction worktable, measure the effective length of the angle ruler, read the maximum difference reflected by the meter head, and then multiply the reading difference by the ratio of the Y-direction travel length to the measured length to calculate the X and Y running verticality values.
